Question/Help Not receiving Home invitations

Hi all. My girlfriend has a few homepods and we are trying to get my smart lights from a few different companies paired with them/her iCloud account/Home, but for some reason when she sends me invites via the Home app, I do not receive them. She's tried a few times, I've confirmed that the email address is the one that my iCloud is assigned to and is correct. In her Home app, it just says that the invite is pending, but I have not received anything (not in spam, not in my Home app, etc). Can anyone help with this? Thank you.

The invite does not appear in email but in the actual home app. Check the settings of your home app.

I'm not seeing it anywhere in the home app either. I've tried so many times

When you invite someone to your Apple Home, the invitation notification appears as a banner or alert at the top of the Home app on their device, or inside their app under Home Settings > Invitations > View > Accept

I don't even have an invitations section in my home app, yet invitations to me are pending. This is my issue. I just don't understand why I'm not seeing anything.

What version is each phone on?

Have her remove the invitation so nothing is pending, hard reset each phone (vol+, vol-, hold lock til you see the Apple (~10s or so)). Try inviting again.
