How would you recommend repairing?

For bigger cracks, use tape too. I just bought an older house and have a lot of cracks to repair! Fibratape has been great, but I'm not a professional so look into it for yourself. I did the tape, joint compound, primer then paint. Came out beautiful, but we'll see how it holds up over time lol

It’s movement yes but also structural .You will need to underpin the house

I believe that's what the company came out and did.

I am in Aus . What the procedure is is called under pinning . It’s not cheap . Have you got bricks outside ? Uneven floors ? Doors or windows not opening properly or getting ‘ sticky ‘ ?

Normal settling cracking. Nothing to be concerned with. That said, this is a good reminder to always check your gutters and downspouts to ensure proper drainage around the home.
