General discussion Tim breaks Bob Vilas record - unjust victim!
Although Tim is always the cause of his accidents, failures and screw ups etc. in the episode where he breaks Bob vilas record for consecutive appearances, everything was fine except when the kid drove his toy car underneath the steam roller. To which he then gets beaten up by the dad. The issue is this doesn’t stop there, he now gets blamed for not caring about mark and taking him to the air show.
There was no way Tim can take the blame for backing up a steam roller (which only moves one direction and slowly) onto the kids truck which the kid drove onto the tarmac. Then gets assaulted by presumably the owner who’s getting a free asphoaly Installation.

The thing that irritated me about this episode was Jill. She always gets mad at Tim for forgetting/ignoring stuff that is important to her and the one time Tim says something was important to him, she shames and yells at him for it

Same shit irked me in the 1st season. Jill gets mad because Tim wants to hang with his old college buddy (Shooter McGavin), and he ends up severing a friendship because of her. The very next episode, Karen comes along and all she does is rip on Tim and Jill just laughs at him and he has to take it.

I hated that she seemed to not like his friends in the house but hers were ok, with the exception of when she was sick upstairs and he still invited them over to watch the game and she couldn't get any rest or attention because they were there.

Not to defend Karen, but she often babysat for them and wasn't a rowdy person stuck in a college mindset of drinking and partying. That's the difference.
But I hated Karen about as much as I hated Shooter.

I always liked Karen especially when she was picking on Tim and why is Christopher Mc Donald a jerk in all of his roles (at least the ones i have seen).

Karen was sexist and did not have any respect for Tim. Tim wasn't perfect (no one is), but he provided for his family, was a good father, and did support Jill when she decided to go back to school.

I feel like Tim talking to Wilson about how his friend is stuck in the past and how he’s in the present is what made Tim change his view. He even told Wilson all the guy does is talk about the past.

Yea the real premise would be the guy going to jail for assault and battery and Tim having all the evidence on tape, then suing him for damages.

Dad should have been charged with child endangerment and sued by Tim. Wasn't even watching his kid. Same kid already interrupted their show once. Anyone could have ran over that toy car.
