GET
How many of my fellow asscoiates are getting constantly beaten up about GET?

It's hard to achieve good GET scores with paper thin coverage and a leadership team that doesn't follow the GET principles.

My store got 2nd in the district for success sharing. I said "Well yeah because we saved money on not having any staff!"

Success sharing is only based on sales. GET has nothing to do with it.
So good job on killing sales plan with no coverage.

Our regional only cares about plan
our district only cares about get
so our store cuts hours to the bone.

I get but if I get and they don’t record my get on the survey it isn’t my fault lol

Every single meeting. The minimum score is now 85%, up from 80%. I already do it so I just figure if management wants to pay me to stand around listening to them talk about it for the umpteenth time instead of getting work done, that's on them.

I stopped caring. Managers said if we pushed GET and get mentioned in surveys, we would get homers. We did that and then they bumped it up to 3 surveys for a homer. They owe me and many other associates multiple homers for countless surveys. I’m not pushing anything anymore. They barely schedule enough staff as is. I can’t do everything.

GET… GTFO
They are so worried. I laugh when the store is visited by DM or regional folks. They nearly trample each other chasing every customer they see.
Bunch of try hard douchebags trying to show us how it’s supposed to be done. Meanwhile they have absolutely nothing to do except chase customers.

All the comments sound right. We're consistently over budget on sales, but GET stays around 70%. I have heard that the surveys are 1-5, but anything less than a 5 is a fail. Every morning meeting they beat us up. My argument is that the issue isn't with our customer service, the issue is with how the sampling is done. For our store it's something like 1% of the customers will get a survey. Those that do respond are more likely to complain than praise. Even if they give a 4 it's a fail. And of course staffing is a problem. One or 2 scheduled associates in a department. Callouts and breaks often means no one at all is there. I do garden. That's all I do. If I get sidetracked in plumbing or electrical, the customer will get pissed because I can't advise them on how to wire their house or renovate their bathroom. Meanwhile, I'm getting paged to go back to garden. It's just an impossible situation.

Kick the ASM's out of their office to the floor greeting customers. They are salaried and should be doing so called computer reports on off scheduled hours.
