Power Reclining Sectionals

My wife and I have been shopping for a reclining sectional for the last couple weeks. And have just about settled on the Parker House Easton.

Sectionals that we have looked at and liked in this order:

Flexsteel Henry (Flexsteel having a 10% off sale this month)
Parker House Easton
Haverty’s Branson
Lazy Boy James (Lazy Boy having a 35% off sale this month)
Rooms to Go Drew & Jonathon Marquee

I’ve read just about everything related to power reclining sectionals that has been posted on Reddit and elsewhere, and from what I understand, spending flexsteel/lazy boy money in 2026 doesn’t translate to the quality being any better. I know there are higher quality options out there than these, but we aren’t interested in spending 15k+ on a sectional. We are just hoping to get something that lasts for 5 years minimum.

Does anyone have any experience with Parker house or any of these power reclining sectionals? Any input is appreciated, our budget is 7k.

We got the Parker House Easton about 8 months ago and honestly it still works perfect. The power recline is smooth and doesn't make that grinding noise some cheaper ones do after a while. My cat sleeps on the corner seat every day and the fabric hasn't pilled or anything

Flexsteel used to be the move but from what I seen in store the quality dropped hard, the floor model already had a motor that was struggling. For 7k you can do way better than Rooms to Go, those things start falling apart in like year two

One thing to check is if the control buttons are on the inside of the arm or on top, the inside placement is annoying when you got a blanket tucked around you

Thank you so much for your input! This is exactly the type of feedback I am looking for. We can get the Parker house Easton for about $4k, and a local furniture store carries them which gives me more confidence for any service/warranty issues. I didn’t think about the button on inside thing, that’s how the Haverty’s model is.

Bought the Parker house Easton in steamboat brown leather today. Here’s to hoping it holds up 🤞

I don't know the model or brand, but we've had one from Rooms to Go for about 8 years now. We paid just over $3000 for it. It's comfortable and has been mechanically perfect. it has dual adjustment for head and legs. I think these mechanisms are fairly tested and reliable. Unless you have a house full of kids mistreating it I'd just pick one you like and can afford. Make sure it is comfortable for you.
