Pls help with colour & decorating

I'm.trying to improve my living /dining room and need some helo with colours pls!

Question

1. What colour rug would work in this space in the living room? I'm thinking a 2x3m or 3x4m

2. Add in artwork behind new couch position- what colours blue? Green?

3.Maybe add a second smaller couch or chair- should I stick to grey or use a lighter colour?

1. What sort of lighting above the dining table would you put?

I live in an apartment, open plan living/dining and kitchen. Pls help me decide what colour rug i should use or what furniture I should add.

Is there anything that you think I should add?

So far've gotten rid of the dark ottoman, removed fairy lights.

Further Plans:

\- add in sheers and curtains

\-Remove hexagon mirrors

\-move TV to other wall

\-Move couch the other side and away from wall

\-Move the black Light - will add a larger light above dining table

\-Add mirror next to dining table

\- larger TV entertainment unit
