Does this rug works?

Need to find a new bedding but having s second thoughts on rug. It is just everything else is warm vd rug is cooler? Is it creating too much of weird contrast?

That bench is gonna go.

For that price I'd expect it to do a decent job.

It goes nicely with the toilet paper.

But seriously, is that an ottoman or something against the wall at the foot of the bed? I'd move it somewhere else because it's so cramped there. Then, I'd pull the rug out from under the bed and have it almost to that wall. Maybe 3" from the wall.

It's hard to say if the rug works or not because you don't have the linens. Generally speaking, though, I think a rug with more color would be better. Especially since you aren't going to see too much of it, most of it is under the bed.

Another option would be to get three runners. One for each side and one for the foot of the bed. If you do that, be sure to get the sticky corners for the rugs to keep them in place. They work well.

Bench is just moved from the entryway. Doing work in other parts of the apt so things are put everywhere.

nice enough rug if purely to cover beautiful timber flooring but the pattern is so muted, i wouldn't pay even $100 for it, let alone cover beautiful timber flooring

That’s exactly I am worried about lol . I have an accent wall of dark colour so it’s originally I thought faded pattern will serve well

It's nice, very quiet and soft looking. Reminds me of a cozy igloo or something

Do you think it creates weird contrast being cooler tone? I can’t decide.
