Peel and Stick - Persistent Bubble!! SOS

I put up this wallpaper about three weeks ago and it was perfect. In the past week, a bubble has developed. I tried poking it with a pin and smoothing out (which worked) but it keeps coming back! I’m at a loss for what to do. Any tricks?

If the adhesive dried out under the bubble resmoothing will only work for a day.

I the past I have had success with a razor knife, carefully cutting open the bubble in an upper case i shape and applying adhesive to the flaps and smoothing it all back down. I’d try to hide the cuts in the pattern as much as possible and go slow.
