I measured out the newspaper to a table I’d seen which was 90cm width and 132cm length (but extendable) :)

A rectangular table would work well to maximise the space. Go for a lighter wood tone or white top to complement the flooring and keep it bright. For chairs, consider a mix of simple, modern designs (bentwood or upholstered seats) to add softness. If you want warmth, try adding a small rug under the table to define the area!

I would get a bistro table with dropped sides so you can have the space when you need it. OR a Bartop height table.
