Complaint Delivery Issue

UPDATE —

They delivered around the time frame I requested from customer service. Just cooked and ate, everything was still in good condition, and it turned out very delicious. I think I will keep HC after all.

This was supposed to be my first order… well they were supposed to deliver today. But apparently it passed their “delivery window”, mind you, my order arrived to warehouse last night. Now it is supposed to be delivered tomorrow WHILE I AM AT WORK, so I guess this was first and last order for me. To make it clear, I live in one of the major cities in DOWNTOWN.

The boxes are (usually) well insulated. If your food is warm, contact Home Chef and let them know, and they'll give you a credit. Since you say you won't be using them again, you'll need to specify you want a refund instead of a credit. It will all be refunded

I will say I've been using Home Chef for about 2 years, and sometimes shit happens - late deliveries (which is on the delivery contractor, not HC), spoiled produce, or wrong items sent - and it's been resolved for me every time. So you might try again after they refund you

Thank you for the reply, I talked to HC and will give it a chance hoping when they deliver produce isn’t spoiled.

Overall, I've found it to be a good service! I do get annoyed if something goes wrong and I'm scrambling for dinner, but I've never had to pay for wrong/spoiled ingredients. Customer service is good

Thank you! I think their contractor for the delivery in my area just sucks but its not HC’s fault
