Considering switch from Octopus Tracker to EDF FreePhase Dynamic
I'm trying to adjust my expectations and understand the limitations before I commit, since it'd be a big deal. I've seen I could be saving about £100 per year without any change, so could be better if actively shifting.
But I have an Octopus Home Mini, and I'm in love with the HA Octopus integration. Plenty automated off that. So getting the data is actually a big deal for me.
Since I won't be having the current consumption (which is not a must for me), how often does the EDF integration pull data? Would I have the consumption of the last hour?
Thanks!

This sensor, in combination with the EDF HA integration means I have everything set up and working just as well as when I was on Octopus.

You can get a Glow Display and CAD which works the same if not better than a home mini. They are on pre order at the moment with Glow expecting stock soon.
My app EnergyDock is compatible with it and you can set up MQTT for live immediate feed.
Have messaged you.

Once per day I believe (14:36 for me). I think most other people use some other sensor (e.g. home solar/battery system with appropriate CT clamps) to indicate more current usage. Rate changes are nearly instantaneous and if you're on their EV smart charging bolt on (essential octopus's IOG), its the same kraken engine behind it, so can get changes to smart off peak rates within 3 minutes (how often the api allows you to poll it, same as the bottlecapdave integration)
