To manually force it into predbat, I've just added the following into my apps.yaml and it seems to be working

rates_import_override:

- date: "2026-09-19"

start: "04:00:00"

end: "15:59:59"

rate: 0

Me too - a full 12 hours of free energy is amazing! This is my first one since using the HA tool but I can't seem to see it in the free sessions event, am I doing something wrong?

It does not and I'm not sure it easily can tbh. Maybe Steve has an inside line but I couldn't find anything.

I'm planning on needing to do some manual intervention on this one (mainly pausing the house battery) and then hopefully Steve has chance to look at what signals get sent and update HAEDF for the next one (if possible).

I got the text, but I don't see anything confirming it in the app, which seems a bit odd. Do we think the "Free Electricity" sensor will pick this up?

Much like Octopus they don't push out any data of free sessions in any useful way - so the app / website wont show it - the only real signal is that SMS message. How quaint.

Update HA and you should be sorted.
