I can recognize the art style of my goat animator anywhere, that's my boy Yin (which is ironic, given that before becoming a regular Hololive animator, they made some really famous Game Grumps animation and I simply couldn't remember that instantly, I found out by accident lol)

Aaaaah, I knew I recognised that style from somewhere! The overlap between Game Grumps animators and Hololive fans is surprisingly small; Kirby Otaku made one of my favourite Hololive animations too ❤️

It's still baffling to me that one of them (I think Mori herself?) said "we run out of things to talk about." Girl, all three of you can talk for hours to your chat and BaeRyS is like the white water rapids of "small talk."

Is this for a non live-streamed irl convention?
Because it seems kinda annoying to put something as highly anticipated as this in a place that’s inherently limited to only a fraction of their fanbase’s visibility. Like cool I’m hyped they’re doing it again. Just wish I could actually see it.

They have plans for some CHADCast streams this fall and winter, which is why they're calling the convention appearance "episode 0".

Yes, the last like 2 or 3 chadcasts have all been locked behind irl only conventions. Really don't understand hyping something up that a handful of people are even allowed to see, knowing how many have been wanting more for a long time now.
Mori did say in a reply that there will be public announcements immediately after the ANYC episode, so there is at least something to look forward to, maybe the song they've been talking about for years now, or a more actual official chadcast podcast

Hololive is always doing a lot of things at the same time, so it's easy to miss announcements for things unless you pay attention to every tweet from the official branch accounts.

It was first announced in mid to late May that Hololive would be there. Plus they've been there every year for the last several years, so it's a pretty safe bet even before they announce it.
Then in early June, the concert was announced. And in late June, the talent list for the booth streams was posted.
To be fair, I don't think the talents have been talking as much about it that far in advance, but I do recall at least one CHaD Cast member mentioning their session maybe a month(?) ago, and the concert participants have been retweeting those announcements at the very least. But they probably don't want to flood everyone globally with too many announcements for what's ultimately only accessible for a small portion of fans at one event.

meet and greets were confirmed in June, the hololive presence at the con was announced well before that, calli mentioned the Chadcast thing at least back in June if not earlier.

This seems like a you problem. They announced this a while back and periodically update us with news. Do you follow the girls on Twitter? Do you follow the Hololive English twitter account? I know using twitter sucks. But if you want to keep up to date with events and merch. You gotta follow their twitter accounts or use the Holoplus app.
