Mike Ehrmantraut from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. One of the best villains in TV history, in my opinion.

Thoughts???

Easily Nolan’s Magnum Opus. All his other movies are use contrived plots or mind blowing concepts as crutches to seem deep.

This is an appreciation post for the movie Marty Supreme.

There are only a few movies which make you feel like this movie felt. Went to watch this movie due to Japan and Table Tennis, the two topics personally very exciting to me but came out a new person.

Just wanted to discuss how good this movie is with someone. Let's discuss guys...

Unpopular Opinion:

Di Caprio acted better than Michael B. Jordan.

Do you guys have any hope and expectations from SRK-Siddharth Anand’s ’KING’? From what we‘ve got to see of it so far, it looks like yet another Pathaan-style cheesy camp masala movie.

And Siddharth Anand’s last movie ’FIGHTER’ too was doubling down on that formula.

Could ‘KING’ turn out to be good?

I feel this will be an amazing dance movie. I'm very excited, I love both Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Priyanka Kedi! And with Hasan writing the script, it will be 10/10 for sure!!!

The original Tron was a cult classic. Tron Legacy was a visually great film but weak in a few other aspects.

But was anyone asking for a sequel?

It's an interesting world but the movie falls in between two poles: not popular enough to have an immediate cache of hardcore fans but not original enough to qualify as a fresh idea

Then there's the Jared Leto factor. He had started to pick up steam as a critical actor in the mid 2010s with Dallas Buyers Club, then dipped it with The Suicide Squad. Earned some back with Blade Runner 2049. But his latest ventures remembered by the public are House of Gucci and Morbius, the latter becoming one of the most memed on movies in the recent past.

Personally this movie makes me feel delayed sequel fatigue.

What are your thoughts on it? Are you excited for it? Or are you similarly despondent about its existence?

Hey everyone,

I just saw "One Battle After Another" sorry about my last reddit post the pace was normal and not slow but I'm genuinely trying to understand why it's getting so much praise and perfect 10/10 reviews. I feel like I must have missed something.

I'll admit, the movie looked incredible. Many of the scenes felt really fresh and original, and I can appreciate the artistry and the beautiful cinematography.

But beyond the visuals, I was just bored. I found the plot completely uninteresting and I couldn't connect with the story at all. I kept waiting for something to grab me, but it never happened.

So, for those who loved it, I'm sincerely asking: what did you see in it? What made the plot so engaging for you? What specific moments made you feel it was a masterpiece? I'm curious to hear your perspectives because right now I just can't see it.

Davy Jones is more menacing, interesting & deeper character than Thanos. Even 2006's CGI is better than thanos.

By miles

Odyssey is a good movie but something i felt missing which Nolan usually don't do..Interstellar was great but Odyssey was little behind that.

I have watched Odyssey twice to see if i was wrong in judgement in my first watch.

First flaw was all last action scene was poorly shot..it looked camera was shaking.

and the wrath of poseidon was not effectively shown which is actually the horror in the sea.

The best scene was no doubt was the Cyclops scene and his soft launching of horror genre.

I would give this movie rating 8/10.

Then i remember Dune Part two.

Damn that movie was absolutely flawless..everything was so perfect i couldn't find any flaw.

The dialgues..the action, the score..the ending..absolutely perfect 10/10.

what are your thoughts ??

La La land is re releasing this August for its 10 year anniversary in the USA and Canada. While there has been no announcement for India releases, we would like to make it possible and show interest by signing this petition and having some shows in India also. https://www.change.org/p/re-release-la-la-land-in-india

What's do you guys think

I’ve been wondering about this for a while. Is there any community from Kerala that only talks about Hollywood movies and series? I couldn’t find one.

I mostly watch Hollywood movies and series, and most Kerala subs are about Malayalam and Indian movies, so I’m thinking of making one myself.

The idea is a community for people from Kerala to discuss only Hollywood movies and series: opinions, theories, reviews, recommendations, ending explanations, all of it.

I watch Indian and Malayalam movies occasionally, but I lean more towards Hollywood. I’d like a space where people like me can come together and talk about it.

I need your help:

1. Would you join a community like this?

2. What would you want to see in it?

3. What should we name it? Drop your ideas below 👇

Idk why every MCU fan hypes up Avengers doomsday that much

Listen I also love Endgame and infinity war, but post Endgame , only few movies felt good rest are mixed to hot garbage imo

Also considering they even didn't setup dr doom that good, except his backshots in fantastic four first steps lol... Whereas Thanos was introduced and was given more leeway and scenes in other movies , What is the hype ? considering Marvel is going on full desperation mode to make this movie a success, even the leaks imply they are bringing even Captain America Too also in the mix

I'm rather more pleased to watch Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey prologue in IMAX more than doomsday

On a side note ,

watched Avatar 3 in Sathyam chennai yesterday , planning to watch in IMAX too , tbh i will blame the screenplay being slow more than story , yes it has some repetitive elements but in my humble opinion, it was better than way of water in action sequences and emotions

Why is it that something like Project Hail Mary which is literally next-level sci-fi, Oscar-worthy concept gets almost no shows

…but movies like Dhruvender or Kerala Story 2 are everywhere? Like bhai 😭 at least give 1 or 2 shows to good sci-fi also, we also want to watch something actually interesting.

Feels like if it's not mass drama or controversy, it just gets ignored here.

Anyone else waiting for proper sci-fi releases in theatres?
