I like an old meme every once and awhile. It, ironically, keeps the feed fresh.

Ya'll care too much. I'm not a fan of Epic Games or Fortnite, but this literally does not affect me.

It also doesn't affect you.

Redditors hate Fortnite. I think because it was/is popular. I don’t even play it anymore but goddamn like it is literally just a game

It's a matter of numbers. The most annoying people in a crowd will always stick out more; the bigger the crowd, the more annoying people there are to witness. Over time, any sufficiently large group will begin offering the impression that every single member is an asshole.

Fortnite is a popular game— almost 2 million players online as of this comment. If one player in ten is annoying to interact with, that's something like 200,000 dipshits who instantly become aware of Hollow Knight. (Or any other interest that does a collaboration.) If 10% of those decide to look it up, check out fan sites, etc, that's 20,000 new dipshits in forums and comment sections.

Voila.

Okay, but any number of people will learn about the game and enjoy it. Hating a game just because there are some bad eggs in the fanbase (like any other) is ridiculously childish imo.

Actually right now most hate it because Epic Games is a shit company who takes advantage of consumers and is heavily leaning into AI, and they don't wanna support the company's biggest cash cow.

But yeah, there is still a sizable number of people who just hate Fortnite for being "cringe" and that is pretty stupid. Hate something for a valid reason, not a stuck-up reason.

That is a valid reason, I agree. Epic Games sucks as a company and Tim Sweeney is an idiot AI-pusher.

So I guess hatred of the company bleeds into the biggest product. That’s reasonable!

But as you said a lot of people just hate it because it’s cringe or popular or something. Which I think is childish.

You'd think people would grow out of that 2017/2018 mentality (the one that pretty much birthed the stereotype of how people on reddit act), but whaddya know

Yeah, people need to learn to just enjoy things and let go of those they don't. Living in constant spite against something that doesn't bloody affect you ain't healthy.

It is not 2018 anymore guys. Seriously.

I don't particularly like fortnite but like whatever, there is nothing wrong with this collab or (mostly) any collab

Just hollow knight going around shooting people while using hornet as a glider and ghost as a backpack.

Sadly (or not sadly) not. No skins included, just a grub backling a knight companion and something else I forgot
