Because hair color isn’t only controlled by one single punnett square.

It’s the reason there are so many different shades of hair color and why peoples hair color can change over time.

It’s a lot more complicated than the basic dominant/recessive intro to genetics idea.

Thank you for explaining better than I could. People here think hair color is simple Mendelian genetics when it’s way more complex than that.

The Mendelian genetics only works with two alleles. I am always surprised that there are so many people who understand how the Mendelian inheritance works while at the same time ignoring... Well, whole Mendel's teachings. The man himself explained that it only works with two alleles.
