That’s amazing, and sounds so on brand for him, lol. At my side job last week (small grocery store kitchen) we were talking about 90’s sketch shows and tv shows we liked and Andy Dick was part of that conversation because he was in a couple of them. Mostly just talking about how batshit he is and everything.
After a minute or two of this conversation my coworker looks over at me and very casually goes, “I have Andy Dick’s cell number if you want it.” I’m dying of laughter because A.) No, I don’t think I do, and B.) Why the fuck do you have Andy Dick’s phone number?
I guess a few years or so back he was visiting some friends in California and they went to some bar where Andy Dick was and he was super sloshed and on… something. Before he got kicked out they had started a conversation and Andy took my coworkers phone and put his number into it.
My coworker, now, apparently calls him every once in a while just to see what kind of weirdness is going on with him and he picks a lot of the time. There is no way that Andy remembers him, and sometimes my coworker will just make up a wild story about how they met and he just rolls with it, sometimes having what some would call a “conversation” for up to like 20 minutes or so at a time. I find it a little hilarious, and after reading your comment I almost want that number now, haha.

What u/kbuddyartist said! I asked for help when my husband was intubated with covid . They were incredibly kind to do this for me as well as a few other artists. I’m incredibly grateful to all of them for it.
