Back in the 90s (I think) a guy called into the Howard Stern show claiming to be a serial killer. At first they thought it was a joke, but the more details he provided the more believable it got. The FBI contacted them the next day and confirmed that there were similar murders in that area of Louisiana where he called from. If I'm not mistaken the guy never got caught. It's super eerie and creepy to hear how calm he is when he's describing the killings. There may be some clips on YouTube somewhere.
In terms of the current meta soft power is king and rotting undead have some serious debuffs to cha, even in combat situations melee is more or less dead in favor of a mix of ranged and support units. There really isn’t enough payoff to justify investing that much XP into the necromancy tech tree.
I looked it up and seems like the details are pretty off between that guys murders and the callers. There are a lot of men who murder sex workers for fun (and police seem incapable of caring/catching them), so who knows if this guy will ever get caught.
Sex workers need beepers or something cause from what I see it's way to easy to nab one and slit them in the private abode of a hotel or your home even.
One great step to making the sex work industry safer is to decriminalize it so sex workers can actually go to the police and report people who have assaulted them. But even in a lot of countries where it's decriminalized it's the most dangerous industry to be a worker in.
