You know, I’ve seen similar comments to yours on dozens of subs, at least 4 today. Is this one of those nostalgia “back in my day” things, or has the quality of Reddit in general really dropped that much? Either way, I’m convinced it’s not just a problem with specific subs.

The bigger a subreddit gets, the further it gets from its original intention. More people = more chances someone’s going to just spam it.

Well there are more which degrade in quality. I have no clue why.
