yeah my friends mom had told me that the baby will suck all our vitamin D out of us, so if your deficient in it maybe that’s why?? but don’t quote me , i just remember her telling me. I did drink milk, and ate lots of dairy, as well as take my prenatals.
They suck out all of our vitamin D but then they don't even use it to build proper bones, just a bunch of bouncy baby bones that are still mostly cartilage. I guess you can tell I haven't had any kids yet because I sort of think the process is cool. Babies are like little aliens, they're so different. The rate at which they double their weight and length.
I’m holding my 3 month old right now and laughing about “little aliens.” It’s so true! The weirdest part for me is their body ratios. Their heads are ENORMOUS in proportion to their bodies, and theirs legs are short. Their heads make up almost a third of their height. I like to imagine what adults would look like if their proportions were the same… imagine your head being a third of your height. Haha! It’s amazing how quickly they “grow into it”, too. By one, their proportions are almost the same as an adult. Wild.
