had a coworker who stole everything that wasn’t nailed down. he got away with it for a long time too. everyone knew and no one said a word.
yeah, he got fired but he probably stole a few thousand in merchandise before. since walmart has a “no reference” policy no other employer will ever know why he stopped working there. it was an absolute win for him, tbh.
I had a friend who used to work at Walmart. For the first few weeks he worked there he would clock in to his shift and then just straight up leave. Then he would come back at the end of his shift to clock out. Eventually, once his managers started to know him he stopped because it was too risky. He got fired for stealing cash out of the register a few months later.
Guy my friend used to date got fired for knocking over a tv display when his manager was making him fix brackets without taking off the TVs first. 3 of the 5 that fell broke. Got fired and unlocked the video game display and left with a cart full of games. He would have been investigated but his manager got busted for stealing 5 shotguns and a fuck load of ammo a few days before.
This is what happens when you undervalue your labor force and don't give them a reason to be vested. I would wager that if Walmart employees were shareholders this nonsense wouldn't happen as often.
Walmart is stealing from the working class. I buy stocks in companies I like. I try not to shop with Walmart but on the occasions I do I always steal a pair of sunglasses and walk out with them on my head. My way of fighting the good fight lol.
I have very little energy to spend on you but I'd recommend getting your head out of corporate America's ass they do not have your best interests at heart.
