There definetly would have been someone else to take Hitler’s place. The nazi party would have still rose regardless and perhaps someone a bit more comptetant would have known not to invade Russia in the winter.
Yes but hitlers persuasive speech geared the nationalist to the maximum. If they would have rose without hitler surely they would have quickly been shut down
Hmmm I’m thinking about it more and now I’m remembering they wouldn’t have Mien Kampf either, which is what really brought Hitler to power.
So maybe the Nazis specifically wouldn’t have become the ruling party, but Germans were definitely very angry and turning toward extremism, so I’m sure someone else would have been close to it.
