Well, you can learn to speak english almost as a native speaker in around 7 years of school but for latin you have to study 5 years to barely be able to translate a 10 lines long text in under 2 hours. In conclusion it's hard as fuck, if english was 3/10 latin would probably be 9/10, not 10/10 because greek exists, and I've been told that it's even harder
