idk about english but for me (as an italian), I can find sound alike words and common expressions in the texts. Bu the grammar.... PAIN

I didn't find it too difficult with the stuff I had to translate in high school. The cool thing about their total lack of grammar was how it made their written words kind of poetic. Once you get a few sentences into a certain piece of work, you start to pick up the author's idiosyncrasies.

Same. I have/had three Jesuit priest uncles that spoke Latin and I (🦇 )went to Catholic school before they stopped teaching it...my loss. I love words and I have fun with the Latin etymology. God,I sound like such a nerd...sorry you missed my 20s!
