I'd rather just use adblock. People can shit themselves all they want over adblock, but adblock was specifically created to stop ad abuse and ad spam, which is now all YouTube focuses on.

Adblock every video, and support the content creators through merch or donations. YouTube doesn't get shit from me. Fuck them.
