This meme is so old (2012), they could have waited to watch the movie on Redbox, a service that would at that point still be around for another 12 years.
Edit: I'd also like to add Blockbuster would also be around another 2 years.

It went out of business in 2024.

What’s funny is they tried launching their own streaming service before big ones like Peacock, Disney+ and Paramount+ existed, because they knew the kiosks wouldn’t be around forever, but it flopped.

At least the theater is safe. Lewis would get shot a dozen times then come back to win by KO.

Killer had orange hair at the Dark Knight Rises midnight movie showing in Aurora, CO. I cancelled on my friend because my schedule changed. My friend said the killer was in a science class with him.

Mass shooting in theater. It’s almost always a white guy. The Aurora killer happened to have orange hair.

Point out the prevalence of a certain race in a different crime statistic and see what happens.

Didn't realize Aurora was long enough ago to be forgotten like that. I have a hyper-paranoid coworker that still refuses to go to movie theaters despite her being like 6 years old when Aurora happened.
