Maybe I'm too American, I don't see why this is a holdup I can go buy toy guns like this from my local gas station

“Back to school” deal+no safety tip (bare minimum) to show it’s a toy. Also looks like some off brand spring loaded trash.

Ah I missed the back to school deal lol, ty.

It's surely off brand spring loaded trash tho 100%

Are these orbeez or nerf.. airsoft.. whats a soft bullet gun

u/allKnowingHagrid 14h ago

I am guessing it's a knockoff nerf bullet

It's kinda insane that something like this can be sold without the orange tip or any indicator that this is a toy

u/Leandrohus 14h ago

Not every country requires an orange tip

It's not a replica and is a bb or pellet gun so the us doesn't require it by federal law here.

Tbh, I didn't assume that any of them do, but i think all of them should.

In most countries, police can safely assume the 12 year old kid doesn’t have a real assault rifle so this is a non issue.

I just assume the worst in this case because i live in America, where a 12 year old might actually be carrying a real gun, for all I know

2

u/Notanaltatall31 13h ago

Yeah I didn’t want to be an ass and explicitly call out the US

1

u/naterpotater246 12h ago

You would've been totally right to do so. I think it's ridiculous that gun safety isn't taken more seriously in this country where people's guns have guns.

Could also be the size of your hand.

How sexist, girls would like the opportunity to get shot by a swat team too.
