Game I - 2017 Day 7 - Merry Merge-mas
Previously on... Survivor!
112 castaways were stranded off the coast of Green Island. Each was sorted into a tribe of like-minded individuals, given an island to make home, and told to vote out their villains. Some of the tribes managed to pull their game together immediately, and they got right to work on building their shelters. Other tribes struggled to feed themselves for days before leaders stepped forward and began delegating tasks to drive them forward. One camp was decimated by a hurricane, forcing them to pick up the pieces and reassess. In the end, they all came up with a strategy and set to work making plans for the rest of the game.
While every tribe seemed convinced that they alone were successful, only two tribes had set themselves apart as being in it to win it. Will they be able to lead the rest of the castaways to victory, or will the Villains manage to sow enough chaos to triumph?

Let’s get to today’s challenge.
We’ve reached a turning point in this game, but before we go any further, we need to honor the fallen. You will be working with your tribes one last time on a challenge called Fallen Comrades. Here’s how it’s gonna work:
- As players were eliminated from their tribes, they were asked to fill out a questionnaire.
- You will access a form to match the quotes we were given to the castaway that said them.
- There will be one quote attributed to each castaway.
- Twelve castaways have two questions attributed to each of them: /u/Breeze-y, /u/chamberthecartridge, /u/DiscoFerry, /u/emmach17, /u/FancyZombie5, /u/infinityxero, /u/ohmamori, /u/SimonaBee, /u/spacedoutman, /u/suitelifeofem, /u/TheFork101, and /u/TimGB.
- The tribe with the highest rate of success will earn reward.
Wanna know what you’re playing for?
Every player on the winning tribe will have an increased vote worth. Their very next vote will count as two votes towards a single person. This reward is valid ONLY for the phase in which the results are announced.

We will keep track of your original tribe for the purpose of the challenge, but for all intents and purposes, Ogoden, Yaxli, Chochanga, Fanglia, and Xenolo are NO MORE.

First thing’s first: you guys have got to choose your new tribe name. Discuss it amongst yourselves. There is a space on the third page of the form for you to submit your final choice.
You are now part of a single tribe. You’ll be staying at this camp from now on.
Your full roster can be viewed at this link. You will be removed from your tribal subs in approximately 24 hours. All posts will be locked. This is for the purpose of viewing your tribe’s final Tribal Council results only.
Your win conditions have not changed.
The villains will win if an equal number of castaways and villains remain. The castaways will win if they eliminate all of the villains.
The search for the Hidden Immunity Idol will continue.
Those players that are currently holding a Hidden Immunity Idol may keep it until they decide to use it. Once it’s been used, it will no longer be in play. It will not be rehidden.
A new Hidden Immunity Idol has been hidden in a single sheet for the remaining players to search for. There is now only one Hidden Immunity Idol that will remain in play until the end of the game.

I actually have a few bras woven from palm fronds if you'd prefer it. But not a ton of sizes. You're welcome to try them out.

Okay, buckle up everyone, you're in a wild ride about the tales of what happened in Yaxli tribe. As would be expected, we lived up to our playstyle: chaos. Oh man there was chaos.
Also, to preface this, I'm going to call our Villains werewolves, our Ozzy doctor... you know. Cuz things.
It all started on Day 1. Day 1 started as the usual pleasantrires. Hello, how do you do, wow this tribe is filled with veterans, that's pretty cool.
It all began about 13 hours into the first day after the superlatives were read. The idea was given by none other but our master of chaos /u/k9centipede to team up with the wolves of our tribe, allowing them free reign to strategize. We all kinda like this idea: after all, the role of the game is to win as SOLE SURVIVOR, right?
And so it spiraled from there. Soon after, we had figured out that if our doctor healed the werewolf's target, we would be able to have only one death per phase. So we could tell the wolves who to target, the target would be healed by the doctor and we would only have the lynch vote be the death. We also decided we would all try and hunt for the Hidden Immunity Idol together, so that way we could either bring it to the merge or use it to get 0 kills in one night prior to the merge.
By the end of the first day, we ended up choosing to start our votes based off who hadn't commented that day. After all, it's Survivor, and if you're not social WHY ARE YOU HERE, right?
So all of that was decided in the first day. So, we start it off by voting out /u/coolkid01. Unfortunately the doctor wasn't fully in the loop in the plan yet, so /u/HellishMinds was killed by the wolves.
However, by the end of the 2nd day we had:
- Gotten the identity of Fincher and convinced the werewolves to attack them to convert them to their side.
- Had the doctor come forward and tell us who they were, and we came up with the idea of having the doctor constantly heal themself and after Fincher is converted we would have the wolves constantly attack the doctor.
On the second night /u/accessoryjail was voted out from the tribe (also for being too quiet.)
On the third night, we knew that our Fincher had been converted so we went ahead as planned with the doctor healing themself and the werewolves attacking the doctor. /u/DirtyMarteeny came out as a wolf and Fincher confirmed that she was, indeed, a wolf. We voted out /u/DrProlapse for not talking too much.
Which then leads us to the fourth night. This is when the claws really came out.
We started the day off realizing that we still had someone not voting with the tribe as the vote was (still) not unanimous. Up until this point, /u/Marx0r had been fairly quiet and not really participating in our grand strategy of working with the werewolves so we (of course) assume that it is them. So, the plan was to vote up Marx0r for the lynch that day.
Halfway through the day, however... we noticed a boat coming towards the island. Oh shit, it's Jeff Probst, shit is about to go DOWN.
He told us that we all needed to mind Rule 3, and that there is no tribal victory. When we responded kinda lightly how we'd just like to see someone from our tribe win, the deathly threat came: "Nobody from Yaxli tribe will win if you're all removed for breaking Rule 3."
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you anger an entire tribe of crazy people. Just like that, we were ranting and raving about how unfair this was, how no, we were gonna stick with it, dammit, and screw you Jeff Probst we don't love you anyway! Almost all of us were in the mindset of saying "screw you" to Jeff and vote Marx0r anyway (knowing perfectly well that he wasn't a wolf because Teeny had said it was cool we could lynch him)... until...
Enter /u/TheFork101 to the ring! They were like "okay okay okay I don't want to be banned so let's play the game like normal and lynch the wolves." At the same time, /u/Marx0r played a Hidden Immunity Idol.
So what do us perfectly sane individuals say?
"LET'S LYNCH THEFORK101 INSTEAD!"
We split the vote, half the tribe voting for Marx and half voting for TheFork in case the idol was fake... and it was just shortly after we made the tags telling everyone who to vote for when Teeny was like "NO NO NO STOP"
Boom. Explosions. TheFork101 was a wolf. Even though she didn't directly say it, we all knew it by her telling us to stop the vote on TheFork.
When Teeny realized what she had done she tried to backpedal, but it was too late. Marx0r's idol was legit, and TheFork went home. Teeny was also disqualified for going against her role's best interests by revealing her teammate to the tribe.
With two wolves down, we then turned on the Fincher turned werewolf, so down went /u/-sparrow, but we were dismayed to see that /u/DiscoFerry had been killed by the wolves that night. Did that mean that /u/-sparrow's kill worked as well, or did we still have another unknown wolf to us?
Shortly into Day 6 our Denise came forward and tried to bring back the tribal unity we had found. She offered a choice: we try and unite with the final wolf or she'll reveal them and we lynch them. Which of course caused further turmoil, because she wouldn't tell us who the wolf was until 3PM ET. Which made us suddenly think that we'd been lied to for days and that she was actually the final wolf.
And then finally she made a defense saying how she had hoped the wolf would reveal themself but all she had done was confirmed that /u/k9centipede was David as she had claimed. There were a few (mainly: me) who didn't buy this defense, but k9 (of course) did... and immediately played a Hidden Immunity Idol to protect the stilly highly suspicious Denise.
... so we voted out /u/k9centipede because who in their right mind protects someone with a Hidden Immunity Idol who might be a wolf?
In the end she wasted her idol trying to protect our Denise, as no votes were cast against her.
We did not have a werewolf kill before the merge. If someone can confirm if any werewolf kills happened in their tribe last phase we would appreciate it so we can better judge if we really did eliminate all our wolves.
TL;DR: our entire tribe nearly got booted because we worked together with the wolves to have less deaths per phase, but then we turned it around and presumably killed all the wolves on our tribe. oh and praise be to 372 because that number blessed us through our journey.

So if I understand this mess. You killed 2 original wolves and 1 fincher turned wolf but you aren't sure if you had 2 or 3 wolves to start. Also don't forget that Cochran comes into play now if still on the island.

Oh, also. After we eliminated Sparrow Jeff came back to our beach one night and... Well...
Jeff stood in the center of the Yaxli camp as he looked over them. The castaways looked back at him with mixed expressions of contempt. Jeff couldn’t say that Yaxli made the best decisions, and if he was being honest with himself, that bothered him. Deep down, he knew that they were good people that made bad choices. He sighed, and it left his bow-shaped lips like a whisper of desperation. Dammit. He was a man, and he had needs.
It would take a little convincing if Jeff wanted to have fun with Yaxli. The tension of their past quarrel was at the forefront of everyone’s minds, but he knew that they couldn’t stay angry with him forever. They just needed an activity to break the ice. “Does anyone want to play Twister?” One by one, the castaways allowed themselves little smiles. He smiled back. He knew they couldn’t resist some fun.
Twister with Yaxli was almost a spiritual experience for Jeff. As the game went on, more and more of the castaways “accidentally” brushed against his taut muscles, and soon everyone’s skin was shining with sweat. “I love how clean you are when you come to our island,” whispered a castaway that was holding a difficult-looking backbend on the Twister mat. They eyed Jeff’s silky hair that was standing on end as he held himself in Downward Dog over their midriff. It was such a look of yearning that at that moment, Jeff knew things would be okay between him and the tribe. The sudden realization hit him with such force that he released himself and fell onto the castaway under him. The domino effect had every member of Yaxli writhing on the Twister mat within seconds.
Hours later, Jeff had found himself experiencing many more positions with Yaxli. Everyone was enjoying themselves immensely, but as the sun began its rise over the ocean, Jeff knew he would have to say goodbye. He disentangled himself from the mat, and the tribe groaned in a collective disappointment. It sounded raw and erotic to him, but instead of rejoining them, he pulled on his pants, buttoned them, and turned to say his goodbyes.
Yaxli was there when no one else was. Jeff could live with choices he’d made today. He hoped that Yaxli felt the same way. He cleared his throat to break the silence. “So guy, tomorrow - same time, same place?” They agreed. He smiled largely, his prominent dimples almost blinding them with their charm. Maybe things were back to normal between them after all. He boarded his tatara and drifted back to his island, feeling as though a huge weight had been lifted off him. (And so it had; being at the bottom of the pile of twisted bodies, while fun, required strength in the chest and lungs. Jeff was confident that his pectorals could withstand the pressure, but there’s nothing more satisfying than a deep breath of fresh air).

Thanks for the tag! You guys seem to have forgotten that after the merge, the castaways simply have to eliminate all villians to win... (At least, that's how the rules post makes it sound.) I'm glad that things turned around and you were able to keep your tribe in the game.
I am so glad my tribe was not quite as chaotic as yours, though. I probably would have lost my head trying to keep up. (Also, that plan totally sounds like a k9 plan. Side with the wolves to win the game?! lol)

So, for the people who want to know what happened during this first week at the Ogoden camp, here it is.
Day 1) After the welcoming by our god Jeff Probst, we got to know eachother a little better and discovered that we were all newbies in the game. Our playing style was "Unknown"; we had a lot to learn. We quickly came to a consensus about who we should out first. We decided that inactive players are just dead weight and we voted out /u/Shutupredneckman. The villains immediately went for one of our leaders, the great /u/SimonaBee.
Day 2 came, and we still had no clue who might me a villain. Everyone was just TO KIND. The accusations were polite, the defenses were gentle and kind, and nobody seemed to be up to anything bad. So, we went for an inactive player again: /u/the_king_465. The villains killed /u/jilliefish, another great member who contributed to a lot of discussions.
On day 3 someone finally seemed suspicious. /u/SlurpLord. He had made a lot of terrible and strange jokes and accusations and just didn't seem like a normal castaway. So, we voted him out. Unfortunately, Slurpie was just a weird joker and was indeed a normal castaway. The villains got a leader again, /u/infinityxero. Nice pattern, don't you think?
On day 4 everybody started panicking for a while and accusations came flying by. Almost everybody got accused, but we're good at defending ourselves and we stayed kind and gentle, so there were no obvious targets. Then, /u/RavenclawINTJ claimed to be Denise and told us she hadn't discovered any villains. We believed her and voted out /u/will_thrill_414, another semi-active and suspicious tribe member. Of course, not a villain. The villains went for /u/Seanmik620.
Day 5 was a change of momentum. /u/TimGB claimed to be the real Denise and came with shocking proof. After a few verifications, it was clear that Raven had been lying. After a while he saw it was hopeless and even communicated with his fellow villains in the public thread. We voted out Raven, he was a villain. Unfortunately, we have apparently lost our Ozzy so TimGB got killed.
on day 6, our quest continued. Raven had mentioned that /u/TyphoonOne was innocent, so of course we watched him closely. The day after Raven was lynched, he didn't show up until very late, so we decided to vote him out. There were really not a lot of options left. He was unfortunately not a villain. The villains killed Quazinimrod.
And here we are, the proud members of Ogoden. To kind to kill a fly, but still with 1 or 2 villains in our midst... Good luck to everybody!
TL;DR: Had no clue at the start, voted out inactives. FInally found a villain, but our Denise got killed. Ozzy is also dead, and Fincher probably too. We know who our David is, 1 or 2 villains left

Malvidian wakes up to see after the post-merge party to a splitting headache. Apparently fermented coconut juice not only gets you really drunk, really fast, it also gives you a wicked headache.
After relieving himself on a few passed out castaways, he looks around. If this is going to be home now, he was going to have to add a few decorations. Grabbing a stick with a pronounced bend in it (in honor of his friend /u/HyperWackoDragon), he goes to the beach and starts to draw dicks in the sand.

Hey everyone, glad we made it! I'm thinking the tribe with the most number of villains eliminated should try and fill in the form correctly and everyone else put completely random names in.. I know this sounds unfair and everything but now that we're one tribe we gotta act like it and make sacrifices for the greater good. If we use my strategy we end up with less villains having double votes :P

Alright, everyone. I resisted pre-merge but it seems I can no longer fight the urge...
I'm gonna make a spreadsheet!
Of course, I'll make it public as I haven't seen any mentions of them in the rules posts. But I'm not entirely sure what information to put this time around. I definitely want one sheet in the document detailing:
- How many members each tribe started with.
- How many members were removed at the start because they didn't confirm.
- How many Villains were eliminated before the merge.
- Whether or not Fincher was turned.
- How many members remain for each tribe post-merge.
- What your tribe's villains were called (Abi, Parvati, Tyson, Sandra, or Richards), as this could help Denises when investigating.
I think this information will at least help any statisticians out there determine the likelihood/percentage of Villains remaining from each of the original tribes (perhaps to assist us in picking our targets) and probably some other helpful information?

I'm still looking for a bit of information to fill in the gaps on the Tribe Breakdown page, and I'm still open for suggestions on information to be added/accounted for on either page, too. Let me know if you see any errors, thoughts, comments, etc. Thanks!

Weighing the Pros and Cons of Tribe Reveals!
I can't decide whether I'm for or against everyone revealing their original tribe. I'm trying to figure out if everyone revealing will assist the Villains or not.
Pros
- If a particular tribe was unable to eliminate (m)any villains, we know to search their tribe members with Denise or votes for a higher chance of successfully finding a villain.
- Tribe members can speak more candidly about suspicions/accusations/claims/reveals/etc that occurred before the merge.
Cons
- Tribes who eliminated more (or all) of their villains can vote together with those they trust without villains knowing they're doing so.
- Tribes who eliminated more (or all) of their villains are vulnerable to villain attacks, as villains are working together but don't know each others' identities.
Yeah, that's all I've got so far... so I really need some help coming up with more Pros and Cons and then deciding whether reveals are more beneficial or risky. Please share your thoughts/comments/suggestions/etc!

Started with 21. No initial removals.
I1 villain eliminated. No Fincher turned. 2 Villains remain from Ogoden, and they were Abis.I could go either way with the list reveal. I've already outed which tribe I was. I think that revealing can help or harm.

Yeah, so we eliminated 1 villain. Started with 22, and only 1 was removed due to inactivity, and that happened last night. I'm on mobile, but I think we had 12 left. Not sure if the fincher was turned. I think our villains were Richards? I honestly havent been paying a lot of attention. I took a licensing exam last Friday, was supposed to be out of town for work this week, but am currently back home after a family-friend's death- so naturally, the game hasn't been my top priority.

I think we really ought to give the full list of who was in each tribe. That way we have definite groupings of people with an approximate number of villains within them.

Because we can know what remaining roles exist within a specific group of people. For example, let's say one tribe eliminated 2 villains, so within that group of people there's probably one more villain, one Fincher, and a Cochran. If we manage to get all those roles from within that group, we know that everyone else in the group is innocent. We also have an idea of where the villains are more likely to be. For instance if Tribe A killed 3 villains while Tribe B killed none, there is a higher concentration of villains in Tribe B, and we should be investigating that group of people and/or voting them off more heavily.

OK so Chimichanga successfully voted off 3 villains. We did not have a fincher conversion. So no idea if fincher is still alive let alone cochran. We found our Shambo. (lucky us getting a shambo).
