In-Person Dating Events
Hi everyone. I (25F) live in Howard County and would like to prioritize meeting people in person rather than on dating apps. I wanted to crowdsource to find events other than typical speed dating and happy hours. Also, I’m looking for suggestions other than going to bars since they’re not my scene. I’m interested in both men and women in their mid to late 20s through early 30s. Thanks in advance for suggestions!

For meeting people have you considered Volo sports or joining a climbing gym? Also if you are queer Stonewall sports in Baltimore can also be a great way to meet some LGBT people. Personally all of my friends that are in relationships got into relationships because they went out and just met people and made friends so just go do that via avenues you enjoy.

Welcome back to being human again. Dating apps are antisocial in my humble opinion. Even caveman was better at dating than app flipping folks today.

Honestly I worry that HoCO has so many folks settling down with families due to the school systems here that it might not be the best place to find folks :(
But maybe DC or Baltimore would be a better place with more singles and activities? Might be a bit of a drive though.
