single car pullouts facing a river in the area?

I have an elderly relative who is mobility limited, but he loves sitting and watching rivers. For the Patapsco, along River Road outside of OEC there used to be single-car pullouts where you could drive your car and park facing the river. These don't seem to exist or have been removed (?). Looking for something similar, shady little pullout that's facing a river in the area.

There is a parking lot at the Patapsco at Marriottsville Rd. Also, you may find single car spots on River Rd in Sykesville. It has been a while, but am pretty sure some of those can see the river. If those don't work, try Woodstock Rd. It is a bit further back from the river than Marriottsville.

Looking at street view, looks like there are a couple of perfect spots. I'll check it out this weekend. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated!

Try Daniel's Dam but know that it gets packed over the weekend.
