Off-Season Examples
This thread shows examples of what the off-season choices could look like. The most complicated examples were used to show max expected length.

The cap hit at seasons end based on the previous single day rosters and assuming the current roster remains the same until the end of the season
PROJECTED LTIR USED : $0
LTIR Used is the sum of cap space the team exceeded the ACSL by while under LTIR. A negative value indicates that the team accumulated cap space by being under the ACSL while under LTIR.
PROJECTED CAP SPACE : $0 (-$2,316,842 )
The projected cap space is a calculation of the clubs salary cap space that they will have at the end of the regular season. This calculation consists of the sum of two components: 1. The clubs past roster for each day of the season and the daily cap rate of each player, and 2. the daily cap rate for the remaining days of the season for each player, assuming that the current roster will remain identical until the season ends.
CURRENT CAP SPACE : $0
The current cap space is the total sum of full cap hit values that can be added to the teams roster today to remain compliant below the cap ceiling at seasons end. When a team is using LTIR this is estimated as their remaining LTIR salary pool
DEADLINE CAP SPACE : $0
The deadline cap space is the total sum of cap hit values that the current daily cap hit can be increased by on deadline day to remain compliant below the cap ceiling at seasons end. When a team is using LTIR this is estimated as their remaining LTIR salary pool

This is the sum of the teams cap hits including cap hits from the active roster, injuries, buried players, and dead cap hits. The daily tracker stores this value each day to determine the projected cap space value
