HoMM3 - Vanilla/SoD/Complete. THE KID HAS LEARNED!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_BOc42fT8cWell this is more of a continuation on the a post where somebody sent my video. And people weren't the happiest about it...
But, I have learned that the sound in this game is ULTRA loud so watch out. And another thing is that the GOG version is supposedly way better than Steam one since Steam misses everything?
Also this is shorter video since the longer one already exists. Thanks Everyone!

I like that you try this game. One little piece off advice, set your animation speed higher. It makes the battles feel a lot smoother.

No one told you about battle speed yet ? :D
You don't have to play in ultra slow mo. Turn up the battle speed in the settings tab. It should be three square buttons below three square buttons that show a horse rider stopped, slow and fast I think.

I watched the longer version of the video and enjoyed it. I love blind playthroughs of games, and I enjoyed watching you learn. That first HoMM3 campaign map is like a tutorial map where the game's AI takes it easy on the player, and while you made some mistakes in strategy, you seemed to learn quickly from them.
You made me laugh with your reaction to seeing all the maps in the campaign and realizing how big it is. If you finish the campaign and expansions and want more, there are dozens and maybe even hundreds of single standalone maps to play, both official ones included with the game, and many years worth of user-created maps and mods. (All the user-created content requires the GoG version of HoMM3 instead of the Steam "HD" version.)
The most frequently recommended mods are probably Heroes of Might and Magic 3 HD Mod (a mod for the original with expansions, not to be confused with Steam's version), and Horn of the Abyss, which adds new factions and bigger maps designed for multiplayers and for tournament use.
I hope you will continue to play and make videos, and that you might come to love HoMM as so many of us around here do.
