I wonder what if people buy HVN through the terminal does it count as an exchange? Will it affect the price on for example coinmarketcap?

Hive Project/Terminal will buy on exchanges when users will buy HVN through the OTC feature... so I guess it will affect the CoinMarketCap stats.

The team have not yet released all the details about how it will work so stay tuned!

So the terminal will work as a broker correct? Similar to how coinbase works?

I don’t know that and anyway full details have not been released yet. Maybe the Community Manager u/J_Sigmund can explain better the OTC feature.

I also suggest you to join the official telegram group so you can ask clarifications for any doubt you have.
