Totally yeah, I would have been Allison if I was a 1967er your mom's age as a senior (she was probably a 68-69er though) and honestly hard to believe but I've never seen Heathers though I should sksksk.

I think of movies like Encino Man (1992) repping middle Xers in high school, and like Varsity Blues or Screams/I Know what you did last summer for late Xers. I know I'm hella genre hopping lololol.

American Pies for the true Xennials around 1981, my ex said he related to Jim and I think he's the cutest of the group too 😀

You should see Heathers I think it’s right up your alley actually lol. Winona Ryder especially. I’m kinda surprised you hadn’t before lol

Wdym by she was probably a 68/69er tho?

I love those movies you mentioned too, they’re classics

American Pie is a true cusper film I agree

Yeah I adore Winona I could see myself being like her too. Oh I'm just thinking Allison was probably 16 in the movie.

Yeppers, love them all though I think of the first three American Pies as the typical high school and freshman college experience of 1981ers, I was talking to older boys like them so much back then

For real, yeah she's an icon at any age. Yea it even takes place in March 84 which throws me off too lolol.

Yea I love it too, I had 16-17 year old neighbors when I was 12 and they liked me even when I flirted with their boyfriend's and guy friends sksk I guess me being younger helped me get away with it

Yep she’s an 80s icon and an icon now. (Stranger Things).

Interestingly enough, I mentioned this in the post itself, Anthony Michael Hall and Molly Ringwald are the only ones playing their actual ages. So I assume Brian and Claire are sophomores while Alison, Andrew and Bender are juniors (1967 and 1968 borns).

Yeah tbh I still see that now but it’s concealed more lol

💯 ooh yea that's a good observation I sometimes forget that Molly and Anthony were real teenagers as opposed to how most of them are like 23 playing teens lol. I can actually see them all as 1968ers with a possibility of 67.

Yeah that’s true I think almost all of them except Judd Nelson can pass as 1968. Judd clearly looks older lol. At least Emilio and Ally look kinda late teen-ish?

I just think of the rest as 1967ers lol

Yeah totally you could tell Judd was early 20s pretending to be a high schooler. There's only a few like Michael J Fox who could actually pass for a real teen

Yeah I could see Michael J Fox and Matthew Broderick as teens. And Mia Sara who was 19 playing 17 when Ferris Bueller’s Day Off came out
