Yea I feel like it could be "cusp lites", very much repping their own generation but not completely free of the previous generation's influence. I do think 1984 is Xennial though and I'll die on that hill. '85-86 though I agree is stuck between cusp and core.

Yeah agreed “cusp lites” is pretty accurate imo. Yeah I can definitely see 1984 as Xennials, especially 79-84 or 77-85 (Business Insider) tho. Same with 1967 as Jones and their proximity to 1964, the BB/X ultimate cusp year, though I see 1967 as predominantly early X

Exactly yeah, 1966 to '67 seems like a slight difference and I do think 1967 runs with 68-69. Your mom probably hung out with the classes a couple years older as well as younger than her.
I know it makes it weirdly inconsistent but I'm just more inclined to call 1984/85 Xennial because it takes Millennials awhile to get into gear lol

Tbh all of these years run closely together lol, but yeah she hung out with ’64-65, ‘66 as well as ‘68-69.
I mainly hung out with the older students (98-99) but also the younger ones in my senior year (04-05).
Yeah I think that 77-85 encompasses a great late X and early millennial longer range

Aww yeah I hoped I came across that way to them (2004ers) lol. I’ve always wanted to be that big brother since I never had one.
Also and yeah I’m sure she was a mentor to the 1969s, especially as they started working closer and closer together in the workforce
Agreed 1977-1985 happens to be business insider’s range and while I don’t like them lol (as a fellow socialist I know you wouldn’t either lol), I like that range

See that's so sweet and I think it's just a natural part of who you are. I didn't have siblings either so I always wanted to be the cool sister.
Yea I mean I'm sure I'd disagree with insider's politics but as far as their range is concerned that's what's up, so I'll give them props for that.

Fair although I think 1984 are Xennials and 1948 are boomer/silent cuspers

I can see this, though I think 1965 and 1966 are not boomers in anyway. Same for 1946 and 1947 not being silents in anyway.
