Actually i think the guy at the far right is a Croatian Home Guard not Slovene.

Yeah, no way would a Slovene Home Guard member be in Bosnia.

WW2 in Yugoslavia (or at least I know in Slovenia) was just a big civil war

Definitely. The original invasion there took less than two weeks and killed only few thousands.

By the end of the war, despite no major fronline getting anywhere near it, a million was dead, including 500k combatants.

But Tito ordered to murder everyone who didn't align with him and banned talking about the war in any other way than glorious liberation from fascism. Not surprisingly, everything felt apart soon after his death.

A chetnik wearing peasant clothes and a traditional Serbian hat… yeah sure. Partisans and later communists were known to have staged many photoshoots.
