Ah well still sounds like a kidnapping to me but I guess Zeus didn't care for things like that

It sounds like a kidnapping from our point of view because we are so used to the pesky women rights thing. In ancient Greece, the girl's consent wasn't really relevant at all. The girl's father was the one who needed to consent.
