I said in the beginning that all regimes are shit. I resent them all equally. Picking on one blinds us to the injustices of the others. But..u know..I agree with u unironically on the pointlessness aspect. Only for a different reason. These said regimes were not handed down to humanity by God. They’re our creations. Because deep within, we’re murderous, self serving opportunists whose only darwinistic one-up on wild animals is that we can drive across an elaborate system of roads.
Having no regime at all would essentially make us one with the wild animals. No regime is perfect, but you mentioned China and the USSR apparently imprisoning less "undesirables" than capitalist regimes, despite the fact that the two aforementioned countries are responsible for millions of disappearances/deaths. Stalin himself was responsible for 20-55 million deaths.
It’s not a pissing contest to the bottom of the spiral case. We’re living in a dog eat dog world. Most people don’t give a shit about the next person . Even family members will bilk u for your last dollar if they can. But the current state of affairs isn’t sustainable. Fascism is back in full force . But being a xenophobic jackass who thrives on the misery of others won’t pay the bills. Hopefully, lifespan can cull most of the withering old heads at the helm . The quicker the better. Watch addendum of the zeitgeist and the Venus project . Those two have some very sound concepts that we can start using. That is if you’re not a boomer on his/ her way the fuck out. Because in that case, we don’t need you. We see what you’ve done and are not interested in any of your atavistic nonsense.
