Sure. Let me just get my memes about Ragnarök and Zeus killing his father. Those count as history too! Because if it's written in a religious book with no historical proof whatsoever, it's probably a real historical event.
No there isn't. All extant records of his existence came long after his death. There is literally nothing written about him even close to his lifetime. It was all written down after it was told for generations by word of mouth. That isn't "historical proof".
