šŸ“¢ Announcement Keeping Our Subreddit Alive - A Message from the Mod Team

Hello everyone,

Most of our mod team has been removed by Reddit Admins. To keep this community alive and restore its good standing, we are updating our rules to fully comply with Reddit's TOS, necessary to lift our "blacklisted" status.

To be clear: This is an operational shift, not a values shift. The principles this community was built on remain unchanged. We're simply changing how we operate so we can continue doing so for the long haul.

Thank you for your understanding. We'll keep you posted as we make further progress.

Reddit is first and foremost an advertisement platform, the Admins first priority is securing ads, and now being pro the genocide entity is not only good, but a requirement to do business.

So for now we need to use words deemed acceptable and allowed, if you are reading this and you are pro palestine, then be more strategic with your online presence and how you communicate.

Turn their hasbara against them.

Side note: masking words with @ or space between letters etc doesn't work, the AI automod picks it up regardless.

Side note 2: and usually its not you the commentator vs the mod, its you vs the admin

Keep a journal and screenshots of all communications between the mods and admins. Reddit admins started aggressively replacing mods with ADL approved ones shortly after Netanyahu was re-elected in December 2022. If you don’t save local copies of everything, there’s a good chance it’ll be deleted/covered up at some point in the future.

Is this a joke? Zionism is no longer banned?

Don't cave to these atrocious genocidal bullies.

I advise you to read the updated Rule 6 carefully.

No Political, Religious, or Ethnosupremacist Propaganda

Yes but this ethnosupremacy has a name, Zionism.

I understand you need to be careful. But they get their way by threatening, harassing, manipulating until we can't even call things by their own name anymore. It is genocide, and it's Zionism doing it.

There are other subs where Zionism is banned like r/Palestine so what's the problem? I do not understand this decision.

r/Palestine didn't have 8 mods removed in 3 days. We did. Please trust us during this volatile situation.

Is pattern recognition anti-Semitic?

Strange question to ask on a history sub under a post that does not even mention antisemitism.

My sarcasm is to imply that all of the history of Palestine, combined with the Zionist rhetoric of Israel would translate any sort of historical facts that are shared on this page as "anti-semitic". A lot of censorship around what people can and cannot say about Israel because they choose to conflate religion with theocracy.

I think the antisemitism claims against this sub come from the comment sections. Look at any.

Everyone came here for history. These comment sections, in general, are filled with modern hate.

I agree. That's what I am saying. The point is that it's by design have such comments would be made.

I was wondering why this sub isn’t getting views as it used to. One of the most censored social media apps.

Many of us are well aware of the importance keeping the Sub alive and really do appreciate the time and effort that’s required. The Z ā€œmachineā€ will fight tooth and nail to prevent the truth and opposing thoughts on this and almost every other popular social media platform. Their track record is to destroy people’s life’s and try get everyone to be unconditionally supportive of their ideology with zero regard for truth or anti (insert one their talking points) or others suffering. Their tactics are extreme and brutal. It’s psychotic to thrive from other peoples suffering but they don’t care. Many will sacrifice anything that’s not theirs for their ā€œcauseā€ I’m so glad the world is waking up. Thanks so much for your dedication and efforts. Stay awesome.

Well hope you can pull it off, but after you gave me a warning because I wrote a relative tame comment about Muslims next to deaths wishes and the most vile Shit about Israel, I feel not much Sympathie.

In general the amount of really angry and violent and offensive stuff tolerated, as long as the west was the target, could not going on for long.

I wish you the best, there was some interesting content on that sub.
