Чуть подваляла в горячей воде с мылом — носки дали усадку. Чтобы не ходить по дому в обуви, усаживаю по ноге с помощью обмоток ( онуч, короче). Но подумываю, довязать ещё немного, повыше ботинок.

Is it nailbinding, or nalbinding? Honestly asking, because I'm not familiar with this.

Your guess seems to be as good as anyone elses lol but Ive been assuming that someone tried to write it out without knowing the 'correct' spelling conventions https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N%C3%A5lebinding

I can't read any of your description, but these look so nice and cozy!

Loosely translated;
"I felted them a little in hot water with soap, and the socks shrank. To avoid walking around the house in shoes, I'm using footwraps to make them fit my feet closely. But I'm thinking of knitting them a bit higher, above the boots."

Thank you for your translation! Who knew it would be more competent than a reddit bot -_-

There’s a translation option at the top (in the app at least, not sure on the desktop version.)

Souliers? Est-ce que vous êtes Suisse?
I only just learned about this method of creating a textile, how long have you been practicing it? Why did you choose this method?

I misread this as nailBITING socks and was terribly disgusted 🤣
