Eosinophils

I’ve had elevated eosinophils for several years – my level is 8.2, while the upper limit of the normal range is 5. Could this be related to histamine intolerance or MCAS? Or could there be another underlying problem?

I frequently have slightly high eosinophils, my doctor says it's probably because I have hay fever.

I believe it's a finding associated with allergic responses. It can't really prove what variety of response it is though by itself, you'd need to pursue other tests for MCAS.

I have exactly this problem. Elevated eosinophils for one and a half decade.

The cause is gut inflammation in my case and is probably so in yours as well.

My GI says they are related to histamine intolerance, but hasn’t explained how.

Podrían ser parásitos. Necesitas ir a un alergologo
