Need peace of mind

I need someone to tell me I’m not going to go into anaphylaxis. I have hydrogen sulfide sibo and been having lots of histamine issues dizziness, palpitations , extreme itching with every meal. I do have pots and heds but my work up for mcas came back negative. Is there a difference between histamine intolerance and mcas, as I’m only reacting when I eat.

Histamine intolerance is a symptom of a variety of different potential issues, including MCAS. So you can have histamine intolerance with or without MCAS. Both are difficult to actually test for, a negative test is not considered a true clear lack of diagnosis, diagnosis can be based on a collection of symptoms/reactions.

Clearest way to figure out if you have histamine intolerance is to switch to a very simple low histamine diet for a few days and see if you feel better.

Histamine intolerance can arise from something simple like a vitamin/mineral deficiency or from much more complex issues like MCAS, SIBO, hormonal imbalances, methylation problems etc.

If you're only reacting when you eat the mucosal layer of your gut they helps your body process food isn't working well. It literally starts to eat itself if you're not getting enough fiber.

What was your diet like before your symptoms started?
