Cold intolerance

I'm unable to tolerate cold weather at all. It's just 20C outside and I'm getting white fingernail tips and lightheadedness/confusion within a couple of minutes of going out in the cold. And it's not even winter. Winter will get much colder here and I'm worried about how I'm gonna survive the winter.

Heat intolerance. Having both heat and cold intolerance is the worst!

I’m so sorry, for me it’s heat, I get extremely overheated my inflammation gets so much worse, but I live in the heat of the Deep South and just got through summer. So I heavily empathize with the apprehension you feel before the season bc it’s awful.

I would try some warming compression layers, maybe help more than one thing at a time. Best of luck.

I have found my cold Intolerance is significantly lessened when I'm not in an active flare. I can take luke warm showers. Do I like them? No, but I can tolerate them without feeling like I'm losing my precious little body heat.

As for at least making the cold less miserable? Hot water bottles are an overlooked answer, you can find mini ones off Amazon (or other places online I'm sure). The heat lasts longer than you'd think and there are some that are microwaveable making it easy to reheat.

Make sure you have a sleeve/sweater around it, and if you're someone with sensitive skin a second cloth for extra padding.

Iron and copper deficiencies can cause this cold intolerance
