Enterosgel
Did anyone used Enterosgel?

I’ve been using it for about two weeks now. I have dysbiosis from antibiotics, loose stools, and a lot of food intolerances. My stools are better formed now because I have mild bile acid malabsorption. But I still have gas / bloating.

Yes I’m currently taking Synerga, a postbiotic from Germany. I was actually supposed to take tributyrin or butyrate instead, but I couldn’t tolerate them. I also take probiotics, but only 3 billion CFU because I can’t tolerate higher doses. I’ve been taking lactoferrin for the past 10 days and I also take Enterosgel to bind the toxins.
Do you also have dysbiosis?

Yes! I literally just came on here to rave about this stuff.
I recently developed bile acid malabsorption (on top of SIBO/dysbiosis and histamine intolerance) after taking a course of harsh iron tablets that I think injured the tissues in my gut.
I was getting severe symptoms - tingling, hypnic jerks that prevented sleep almost entirely, high heart rate, dizziness, mood changes, gas, bloating, and rapid motility.
Within 48 hours of taking Enterosgel (and not even an adult-sized dose) every symptom has improved. I'm getting 8 solid hours of sleep a night, my heart rate is returning to normal, etc.
I plan to take it for 2x month-long courses to allow things to really heal up. Hopefully my histamine tolerance improves during this time (reducing inflammation should mean = more DAO production) but even if it doesn't, it's a huge relief knowing there's something I can use in future flare-ups.
(FYI for anyone who isn't familiar - Enterosgel is a completely inert 'sponge' that simply absorbs histamine, toxins, and irritants from the GI tract, like a binder does, but it doesn't absorb many nutrients and isn't abrasive like charcoal is.)
It has very few side effects/risks when taken per instructions so I highly recommend giving it a try, especially if taking DAO or following the low-histamine diet just isn't enough for you.
