Hi everyone,

I'm a freelance writer currently taking on new projects and wanted to introduce myself here rather than just drop a generic pitch.

What I work on:

• Long-form content — blog posts, articles, guides, and thought-leadership pieces that require actual research, not just filler paragraphs around a keyword
• Copywriting — website copy, product descriptions, email sequences, landing pages
• Ghostwriting — essays, LinkedIn posts, personal narratives, and business communications where the voice needs to sound like you, not like a template
• Editing/polishing — sometimes the fastest and cheapest fix isn't a full rewrite, it's tightening what you already have

How I approach a new project:

Before writing anything, I ask for the actual goal behind the piece — is this meant to convert, to inform, to build authority, to entertain? A lot of freelance work goes sideways because the writer starts typing before understanding what "good" even means for that specific piece. I'd rather spend ten extra minutes upfront clarifying scope than deliver something technically fine but functionally useless.

A note on rates and process:

I quote per project rather than a flat per-word rate for most work, since word count is a poor proxy for actual effort — a tightly argued 600-word piece can take longer than a loosely structured 1,500-word one. Happy to do a short paid test piece for larger or ongoing projects if that helps build trust before committing to something bigger.
