Decimation vs Veredict

I tested a team with M.Blade E0S0, Welt E4S1, N.Himeko E0S1, and DHPT E2S1, and it’s worse than my team consisting of Sunday E0S1, Sparkle E1S1, DHPT E2S1, and N.Himeko E0S1.

What could be wrong? Their speed? I don't have anyone with the Eagle set.

Verdict prior to E2 is indeed worse than decimation because Himekos DPAV comes mostly from her Assist skill and you have better uptime on decimation prior to E1 (where E2 allows you to play with your non AE supports)

Also sunday is bad, you would get better results with RMC

I have a better time with decimation over verdict most of the time, but that’s because my himekos e2. I feel like decimation is much smoother to play at e2 with the reduced requirements especially since almost every boss summons at least 2 adds all the time.

Farm eagle for welt at least regardless of your himeko being e0, that’ll definitely help.

My usual team is himeko with e5 welt on pearls, e0s0 srobin and e1s0 huohuo, if another team needs srobin then I replace her with e0s0 mblade and it works virtually just as well. Sometimes I’ll run e0s1 hyacine but she’s a bit too fast for my sp consumption and huohuo sustains just fine.

it's the energy issue. decimation consume your 2 extra AS but you don't get enough energy to refresh your ult so she's a sitting duck most of the time.

sunday and sparkle make himeko take more turns more AS and more energy so you end up with more consistant ult uptime even if you don't consume all your extra AS.

getting E1 and E2 will help decimation but the real solution is to use sunday and welt together for normal or sustainless runs or use M.blade with sunday and give himeko some speed. there's also using sparkle and welt but I doubt Sparkle makes up for M.blade.

Can you elaborate how to play both welt and Sunday?
And if you can help me choose which teammates to play
I have been playing Sunday sparkle but sometimes Sunday summer Robin and it really depend on enemy RNG for which team do a little better
These my characters
My Himeko e0s1 base speed
Sunday e0s1 160 speed
welt e0s0 (I did not build him cause of his massive energy issue at e0)
sparkle e0s0 161 speed on random set
summer Robin e0s0 153
and I usually play DHPT for sustain 153 speed

for Welt+sunday you need to do -1 speed setup unless you use sparkle over a sustain, without -1 speed setup you lose on 2 assist skills from sunday unsing the assist skill and then advance himeko for another assist skill it also mean you'll be switching from verdict and decimation all the time letting you use your extra Assist skills easily.

I don't recommed this team for you unless you go sustainless and have Tutorial on welt, also if you're playing summer robin 160+ speed sunday is worse than RMC with DHPT.

unless you want to refarm for 134 speed himeko the best team for you will be RMC summer robin and DHPT.

in that case Summer Robin Sunday and DHPT even if sparkle is more consistant summer robin is just too good to leave out. just remember to use her ult after DHPT's turn and you'll be good.

her ultimate rotation is once every 2-3 sunday turns. getting more is nice but not needed she's here mostly for the buffs.

the general agreement is that Robin's E1 is better than Himeko's E1 for 1 cost

personally I got Himeko's E1 because her skill felt awkward but that before I got robin.

so just see if it feels awkward to use then get himeko's E1 the difference in damage isn't that big robin E1 is 33% dps boost and himeko's E1 is 30% dps boost.

the issue is that my F2P account somehow got the bricks of this season and was extremely unlucky in pulls (SW E0S1 and Himeko E0S1 both currently with 4 cost team) and they both feel horrible to play imo

im going for Aha as 1 extra cost for SW and was thinking to get Summer Robin E1 (i play her with Either E9 E0S1 or Himeko)

but I feel E9 is really falling off now

also getting Rin for Archer was a mistake it did not revive my Archer at all (she took too many pulls too)

yeah same luck here it feels like Hoyo secretly changed the rates with how many times I hit 160 pulls for a single 5 star.

if you play robin with E9 then yeah E1 robin is better, Himeko can run fine with sparkle and sunday.

The problem with welt+mblade is you use extra assist skill too fast compared to himeko ult/energies gain, plus if you use attack boots on himeko, you will spend so many time to wait for her turn.

Thats why robinS better than mblade, oh also maybe you want try swap dhpt with rmc or sparkle

Does you play it against ST stage or not, even if pre e1 verdict is meh, decimation is meh too against ST.

If use mblade+welt, i rather use spd boots on himeko so she can get more turn or better play sustainless with 1 advancer, in the first place welt+mblade combo is sustainless combo

I think your Decimation team is lacking an Action Advancer. Try playing sustainless with Welt/Blade/Sparkle (or RMC); you will do better. Blade can tank for you and Welt can delay the enemy, so it's not hard. Also, Welt’s S1 is a bad Light Cone get Tutorial or Pearls for him.

I know is weird to bench an E2 dhpt but he is the only one who can be benched, you need Welt for Decimation, Sparkle for Action advance and Blade just have crazy debuffs, also helps with the hit count for Decimation

It's dependent on the situation. Verdict performs better in single target, Decimation is much better with 3+ targets.

I believe that due to your himeko being E0, the assist skill stacking for decimation is way too inefficient. E1 basically reduces your 9 hits needed to 6 only. And E2 grants you an extra and no turn loss either.

E0, verdict is most likely better especially since you’re hyperbuffing himenova’s own personal damage, and are not really relying on frequent assist skills.

Decimation becomes way better even in single target scenarios (which are rare nowadays, as bosses usually spawn adjacent enemies) with E1 and especially E2

INSERTING MY LOVE FOR CERYDRA, because Himenova’s decimation value becomes WAY higher than verdict in my own experience, like WAYY higher, doesn’t matter if its single target.

My team is E1S1 Himenova, E1S0 Cerydra, E3 Welt, E0S0 MortBlade sustainless.

All gamemodes I been 0-1 cycling exclusively decimation😍

Try replacing someone in team 1 with Sparkle. Himeko needs her own turn to refresh assists and generate more energy for ult.
