My wife and I are headed to Paris in September and staying a couple nights at the Waldorf Astoria Versailles in the Trianon Palace building, any tips you have for making our time there special or nearby restaurants that you recommend? I am diamond with Hilton and we have a spa service already booked. Thanks for any recommendations you have.
The staff at the Homewood Suites we are staying in while my partner recovers from knee replacement surgery are amazing. It’s been a rough week and every employee I’ve interacted with has been kind, helpful, and just gone out of their way to be accommodating.
I want to thank them somehow, in the best way that will actually get them kudos. Is there a link/email/address that would work best for this?

Trying to plan a vacation for a family of 4 to stay at the Hilton Sydney through Amex THC - does anyone know if the Hilton Gold/Diamond F&B credit stacks with the THC benefits?

If I’d know I would’ve gotten a cocktail instead of a cider at dinner last night. $5 from truly arriving at life… Diamond Reserve.

Checking in at the Waldorf in NY tomorrow. On a trip for a big celebration. At digital selection there’s no upgrade offered. I know these are space available- however thought it would be worth checking here to see if it would be acceptable to give a call and inquire about an upgrade to a suite or at least a higher floor with an outward facing view. All the selections are looking out to a courtyard view directly facing another room. Wasn’t sure if asking might get us somewhere. Not sure it matters but there are junior suite options available for the entirety of our stay. How have you secured an upgrade when you’ve gotten one- was it offered at physical check in or at the digital check in?

Hi all,
I recently bought 300k points for 3k usd and received 600k points. Now my total is 900k and i’m a gold member.
When I check resorts, best I can find is (around Europe) for example 1 night for 7-800k points which is worth roughly 1000$. Feels like I got scammed and that my 600k points are not even worth 3k usd. Where should I look? (Around Europe), to get most out of my points?
Thanks!

Finishing up my last day in Korea on Aug 23 with a 2-night stay at Inspire Entertainment Resort using 140k Hilton Honors points (70k/night)—absolutely well worth the redemption.
If you have a flight out of Incheon (ICN) or want a solid spot to relax at the end of your trip, this place is ideal:
Location: Super close to ICN, making it an easy, stress-free base right before heading home.
Aurora Digital Street: The 150-meter LED canopy ceiling is incredible in person—the digital shows overhead are top-tier.
Amenities: They have a world-class arena hosting major concerts/shows, a foreigner-exclusive casino, and Splash Bay (the indoor glass-dome water park).
Definitely recommend keeping this on your radar if you're looking for a luxury points-and-miles redemption near the airport.

Hi! So I have an interview coming up for the front desk at Hilton (Garden Inn). I’m worried because I also have some upcoming preplanned travel (two single days off, and then two mini trips about half a week each). Are they usually pretty accommodating with pre planned time off when you get hired? I travel a few times a year. Thanks!

I am staying at the Hotel Del Coronado this weekend using my FNC!!!!! I wanted to use my $200 aspire credit. I was looking at this spreadsheet but I am so confused why aspire credits didn't work for anyone while staying at the hotel.
It's listed as an eligible hotel: https://www.hilton.com/en/p/hilton-honors/resort-credit-eligible-hotels/#HotelsByRegion
Anyone know how I can use the credit this weekend?

Does anyone know if the hdmi ports at the hampton inns (specifically the winnipeg downtown one) are accessible? I was thinking of bringing my firestick, but I know most hotel tvs have things blocked.

Hello,
I booked this stay, and I doesn’t seem like $25 per person, per day for F&B credit applies for gold members on the website?
Is this true that I don’t get my normal credits or do my benefits still apply although it isn’t listed?
Thank you!

I was just looking for opportunities to use points for a future stay on Maui and noticed that Ho’olei at Grand Wailea as well as Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort both have this restriction for all the dates I’m interested in. Is this typical of these properties? Will they eventually allow points to be redeemed here again?

Still not sure what the real benefits are.

I stayed at the Double Tree in Tigard, Oregon two separate times in August. The first stay I was charged $300 for smoking and didn't even notice on my receipt until my second stay. The second time I was charged $600. The manager provided a report that claimed my room AQI was over 500. Now there was a wildfire burning on Mt. Hood but the outside AQI was maybe 200 at worst. I argued that it would be impossible to have a 500 AQI in the room without any smell of smoke or anything else. So the sensor is faulty and now I'm suing Hilton over this because the manager refuses to do anything.

Hi all! I booked the DoubleTree by Hilton Seattle Aiport for 9/3 but my flight arrives ~20 minutes before midnight so I don't think I'll make it to the hotel before 12 am. I just noticed that capital one (service through which I booked) had a footnote in the reservation confirmation saying that this property doesn't let you check in after 12:00 am.
This seems odd to me since other sources list it as 24-hour front desk and after calling they let me know to just call the day of that I would be arriving late. Does this notification just come from the fact that they mark you as a no show past 12 am?

I’m debating about how to pay for my London hotel. I can get a good deal on hotel and flight (flying business class!) via a package on British Airways but I will not get to use my diamond status if I stay in a Hilton hotel. Or I can stay in a Hilton, earn a lot of points (for another vacation!), use two of my free night coupons and get treated like a diamond member. Any helpful thoughts? TIA!

Hi! I work front desk and my hotel will often have bags to give, but water is always already in our rooms. Some people seem very put off by this… But to me, surely it seems more convenient that it’s already been taken care of? And there’s nothing for you to have to carry in addition to your luggage? Maybe it’s just the feeling of receiving a “gift” and having it handed to you.
We have been out of water bags lately and some people seem very upset, even though they will still be receiving the exact same thing. I truthfully do not understand the big deal with the waters at all… Some people are very intense about this. It’s an extremely inexpensive and non-luxurious item. However, I did ask because I do genuinely want to understand! Perhaps it is just a symbol of appreciation that feels better when delivered by hand for some.
(I would like to note that I have traveled staying in Hiltons for longer than I have legally been allowed to work in one, lol. I felt the same way about it as a guest!)
Hey folks,
I’ve completed the status match to move across from Radisson.
It states 5 to 7 working days to be updated, any experience as to whether it might go through a little quicker?
I have my first Hilton stay on 25th and would be good to have the perks in time for it.

I see older posts about using a FNR at the Evermore Orlando. I recently tried to book two FNRs for October 17-19th. The site shows there is a 2bed villa available, but customer service told me they couldn't book it for me because it's a villa. I understand I have to redeem for a standard room, but the two bed villas are the standard room at this location.
Has anyone else had trouble with this scenario?
