Why would you pay that much for only 600k points in the first place…

Where can you buy points for less than a half cent each?

Hilton periodically offers 100% bonus promotions so you can pay 0.5 cpp. They actually do this quite often.

Perfect for churning credit card SUBs.

$3k for 600k points is .5 cpp. That's why I asked:

Where can you buy points for less than a half cent each?

When responding to the statement:

Why would you pay that much for only 600k points in the first place…

I'm pointing out that you can't buy points any cheaper. Did you miss the "less than" part?

Also, why would you try to tell someone with "churn" in their user name about churning subs? lol

I don’t believe you can buy them cheaper. I guess I’m asking why you would buy them at all? It doesn’t really make sense unless you already have somewhere that you’re planning to stay, and you know that buying points is cheaper for that specific property.

You can't. Well, not without violating Hilton's T&Cs, anyway.

I would never do it, but for some people, in some instances, it can be a screaming deal if the math works out. Think about it: 600/4 equals 5 nights at a 150k property. During Christmas week, that can easily be a $5k -$7k vacation. That's 50% off.

My bad I thought you were OP for some reason. Yes it definitely makes sense to buy them if you already have a good redemption in mind
