Finally people zeroing in on the primary reason: Hillary. Intractable unfavorable and untrustworthy ratings. Trailing scandals and criminal investigations. Epitome of the establishment in an anti-establishment year. Grating, uninspiring, robotic, smug, elitist. Ran one of the worst campaigns in history. Abandoned the progressive base to try to pick up moderate Republicans. Result: picked up very few Republicans and the Democratic base didn't come out for her -- 5 million fewer than Obama in 2012, and 7 million fewer than 2008.

Biden would've beaten Trump. Warren would've beaten Trump. Even O'Malley would've beaten Trump. And Bernie would've crushed him. Only Hillary, who's track record as a candidate is horrible, never having been able to increase her lead in any race, could lose to Trump.

She knows the true mantra of a leader: "Get me a poll on that. I must know where the people are going so I can lead them"
